495 MILLION BARRELS OF CRUDE TRANSPORTED FROM CEYHAN TO WORLD MARKETS UNTIL NOW
Baku, 29 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)The amount of crude transported so far from the Heydar Aliyev Ceyhan oil terminal to the world markets is 495 million barrels, AzerTAc correspondent reports from Turkey.
According to BOTAS International Limited, a company operating the
Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, 601 tanker have been loaded with Azeri oil since June
2006. With Kazakhstan joining the BTC, the pipeline’scarrying capacity is going to
reach 1.6 million barrels per day shortly.
The 1076 km Turkish section of the BTC export system includes four pump stations,
two metering stations and the Ceyhan marine export terminal.
BOTAS gets 35 cent per barell transported.
