STATE HEAD RECEIVES MARSHAL OF POLISH SEJM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In a scope of his state visit, the President Mr Ts.Elbegdorj received Tuesday a delegation led by Ms Ewa Kopacz, the Marshal of the Sejm (Lower House of Polish parliament). Beginning the meeting, Ms Kopacz said that Poland highly spoke an intensive growth of the Mongolian economy in times of the global economic crisis. She underlined that a business forum held in Warsaw was fruitful, and hoped this forum will contribute to widening the Mongolia-Poland economic cooperation and to a development of Mongolia. Mentioning that Poland wants to be a bridge for Mongolia in the European Union (EU), Ms Kopacz hoped that the cooperation documents established between the countries will bring a big chance for the bilateral relations. Ms Kopacz also highlighted Mongolia has been contributing to distributing the education for democracy and strengthening its valuables within chairing the Community of Democracies (CoD). In turn, the President thanked Ms Kopacz for a warming welcome, and underlined that Ms Kopacz is the first woman to become the Marshal of the Sejm, and it encourages Polish and Mongolian women.
