PRESIDENT RECEIVES MARSHAL OF POLISH SENATE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia has become a real democratic country and has learned the democracy, the Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Mr Bogdan Borusewicz has said during a meeting with Ts.Elbegdorj. The President Mr Elbegdorj received him Tuesday within his state visit to the country. Mr Borusewicz emphasized that Mongolia has been developing its own way despite being surrounded by the nations with different political systems. The experience of Mongolia in combating corruption and forming a justice is attracting attention of many nations, Mr Borusewicz said, adding Mongolian and Polish businessmen have contributed to democratic transition of Mongolia. Mr Borusewicz congratulated Mongolia on becoming a Participating state of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and said Poland is ready to support Mongolia in all spheres and to develop the bilateral ties. “Poland-Mongolia group at our parliament has the largest number of members, and all of them want to visit Mongolia. I think an example of the Mongolian democracy will positively influence the world's nations,” Mr Borusewicz underlined. In response, Mr Elbegdorj expressed satisfaction with meeting with the Marshal of the Senate Mr Bogdan Borusewicz who is one of the leaders of the Polish democratic movement, and then thanked him for backing the Mongolian democracy and making his big efforts to widen the Mongolia-Poland relations and cooperation. The State Head underlined an importance of the inter-parliamentary ties in expanding the relations and cooperation. It is important to widen the trade and economic cooperation and to bring it to higher level, he added. B.Khuder
