MWL secretary general invited to Yemen

JEDDAH, Oct 28 (Saba) - Yemen's consul in Jeddah city, Saudi Arabia,
Muhammad Saleh al-Qutaish has met with secretary general of the
Muslim World League (MWL) Abdullah Abdul Muhsen al-Turkey and
invited him to visit Yemen.

The invitation was extended by chairman of the Alsaleh Development
Foundation Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh and aimed to invite al-Turkey to
deliberate and coordinate on holding joint cultural and social
activities by the MWL and the foundation.

Al-Turkey was also invited to participate in the inauguration
ceremony of the Alsaleh Mosque which would be held on November 20.

The meeting also dealt with aspects of cooperation between the
league and Yemeni Islamic universities and foundations
particularly in holding joint conferences.

Al-Turkey welcomed cooperation with the Alsaleh Development
Foundation and other Yemeni universities and associations in the
fields that contribute to spread straight Islamic culture and combat
misleading thoughts and extremism as well as enlightening coming
generations.

Al-Qutaish praised all efforts the OIC makes to spread the Islamic
culture.
