Cabinet ratifies final form of Local Ruling National Strategy

SANA'A, Oct. 28 (Saba) - Chaired by Premier Ali Mujawar, the cabinet
approved on Tuesday the final form of the Local Ruling National
Strategy.

The approval came after adding the President Ali Abdullah Saleh's
directives that were delivered during Monday meeting with the
cabinet, governors and secretary generals of local councils of the
governorates.

The cabinet directed concerned ministries and bodies to carry out
the strategy and submit quarterly reports on the implementation
progress.

The Local Ruling National Strategy aims to improve the local ruling
system in the light of President's electoral platform to realize the
local and national development goals.
