TS.ELBEGDORJ TO LEAVE FOR GDANSK

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj is to visit Gdansk city in a scope of his state visit to Poland. Mr Elbegdorj will leg the "Roads to Freedom" Museum, lay wreaths to the Solidarity Monument erected for honoring the 28 people who died when the shipyard workers strike was suppressed by the government. On Monday, the President met Ewa Kopacz, the Marshal of the Sejm (Lower house of Polish parliament); Bogdan Borusewicz, the Marshal of the Senate (Upper house of parliament), and legged the Department of Mongolian Studies at the University of Warsaw. He noted that Polish people significantly contributed to developing of the Mongolian studies, and heard opinions from students, teachers and scholars on Mongolian language and studies. He presented a language training facility to this Department. The same day, Mr Elbegdorj was given a banquet by the leader of Poland. B.Khuder
