AZERBAIJANI PARLIAMENTARIANS ASSESS PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
Baku, 28 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)At their Tuesday session, members of the Milli Majlis offered their assessments of the October 15 presidential election in Azerbaijan.
The parliamentarians described the election as transparent, free, fair and meeting
international standards. According to them, it was Azerbaijan`s another successful
step towards democracy. Speaker Ogtay Asadov said that on October 15 the people of
Azerbaijan demonstrated electoral culture to the whole world. “The people of
Azerbaijan re-elected Ilham Aliyev as the President having voted for progress and
prosperity of their country,” the Speaker said.
