MUSLIM MAGOMAYEV`s COFFIN ARRIVES IN HIS HOMELAND
Baku, 28 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)A coffin of the outstanding singer Muslim Magomayev was delivered to Baku on October 28.
A special flight from Moscow with the coffin on board landed at the Heydar Aliyev
International Airport, where mournful atmosphere reigned, at about 20:30 local time.
The spouse of the legendary musician Tamara Sinyavskaya has arrived in Baku by the
same plane.
The flight was met by acting minister of culture and tourism Abulfaz Garayev, Baku
Mayor Hajibala Abutalybov and other officials, as well as representatives of
intelligentsia and workers of culture.
Muslim Magomayev`s coffin was placed in a hearse to be delivered to the Ajdarbay
mosque.
