QOC Chief Meets Palestinian Olympic Committee's Head

Doha, January 21 (QNA) - HE the Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani conferred today with the President of Palestinian Olympic Committee Jibril Rajoub, who is currently visiting Doha. HE the Secretary General discussed with Rajoub bilateral relations in sports areas as well as ways of enhancing such relations. The President of the Palestinian Olympic Committee expressed his admiration at the significant growth taking place in Qatar, particularly in the sport, thanks to the wise policy of the Qatari leadership. He as well praised the great support provided by Qatar to his country in various fields, especially in the field of sports, saying that Qatar's had built many sports facilities in Palestine and continued support for his country in various sporting events.
