Yemen, IMF review steps taken to join WTO

SANA'A, Oct. 28 (Saba) - Yemen and the International Monetary Fund
(IMF) reviewed here on Tuesday steps Yemen has made to join to the
World Trade Organization (WTO).

Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakel discussed with
IMF's delegation visiting Yemen currently results achieved in the
fifth round of negotiations to join to WTO held recently in Geneva.

The meeting highlighted the price changes in the local market as
well as the latest economic development in the country and policies
to promote economic growth.
