ELDERS TO HAVE DISCOUNT FOR SANATORIUM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Elders will have a discount of MNT 150 thousand to stay in a sanatorium or holiday camp every year. A decision on the new discount was made Saturday at the cabinet meeting by amending the rule on rendering assistance and discount to elders. It was approved by the 2nd appendix of the #185 governmental resolution of 2012. The altered rule will come into force from February 1 of this year. In 2011, money of MNT 2.2 billion was allotted from the Social Insurance Fund for the sanatorium discount for 28 thousand elders and the disabled. In the year 2012, the size of money for the discount increased to MNT 4.3 billion. Money of MNT 5.4 billion will be allotted from the budget for the discount. B.Khuder
