PRESIDENT TO VISIT POLAND

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj will pay a state visit to the Republic of Poland at an invitation of his counterpart Bronislaw Komorowski on January 21-22, and then will take part in the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting 2013 on January 23-26 in Davos, Switzerland. During the upcoming visit, the President Elbegdorj will hold negotiations with Bronislaw Komorowski, and will hold meetings with Ewa Kopacz, the Marshal of the Sejm (Lower house of Polish parliament); Bogdan Borusewicz, the Marshal of the Senate (Upper house of parliament); and Donald Tusk, the Prime Minister of Poland. In accordance with the visiting programme, the State Head will give a lecture at the University of Warsaw, and then will give a speech at a Mongolia-Poland business meeting together with the Poland's President. Moreover, Ts.Elbegdorj will meet Mongolians living in Poland and will attend an opening ceremony of a Mongolian language training center at the University of Warsaw. Intergovernmental cooperation documents on economics, defense and education sectors will be signed as well. Mongolia established the diplomatic relations with Poland in 1950. The President's visit is expected to contribute to widening the Mongolia-Poland rising cooperation in the fields of trade, economics and other sectors. The State Head Elbegdorj intends to participate in sub-meetings of the WEF 2013 on issues of situation of the world economy, democracy, corruption combating, water and green development. With an aim to propagandize Mongolia, a measure called "One Day in Mongolia" will be held within the WEF. B.Khuder
