FOREIGN MINISTER BEGINS OFFICIAL VISIT TO INDIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold started Tuesday his official visit to the Republic of India from Mumbai city, one of the biggest financial and economic centers in the country.
Beginning his visit, L.Bold legged the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) which was founded in 1875, and got acquainted with its activities. He shared views with Mr Ashish Kumar Chauhan, the BSE's Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, on the cooperation in finance and capital market sectors. As Mr Ashish said, the BSE is the very first stock exchange in Asia, and ranked at 9th place in the world in terms of size of capitals of listed stock companies, and 5th place by the electronic trades. In 2012, the BSE made trade of USD 1.2 trillion of over 5,100 companies.
The same day, the Foreign Minister met with business delegates in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mumbai, and delivered a speech on a policy of the cabinet for reforms, on investment environment in Mongolia and on opportunities for the countries to expand their trade and investment cooperation.
In addition, presentations were given by S.Bayaraa, the Ambassador of Mongolia to India; and D.Delgersaikhan, a director of the Bank of Mongolia's Department of Currency and Economic Policy.
