Norwegian cardinal meets with FM Mottaki
Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA - Cardinal of northern Norway churches Thriven Bacoyek, who is visiting Tehran, met with Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Monday.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, in the
meeting, Mottaki told his Norwegian visitor that need to religion is a
basic need of human beings.
He added, "Religion and religious beliefs are born with human beings
and governments, while trying to provide necessary needs for life of
their citizens, should take care of their spiritual needs too.
The Norwegian cardinal, for his part, underlined the necessity of
dialogue among religions to reach a common understanding.
