Qatar Sends Aid Shipment to Syrian Refugees in Zaatari Camp in Jordan

Doha, January 12 (QNA) - Under the sublime directives of HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, an urgent shipment of Qatari aid was sent to Syrian refugees in the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. A source from the Qatari Foreign Ministry told Qatar News Agency that the 38 tons of aid included tents, blankets, clothes and heat products to help the refugees face the bad weather conditions. The source stressed that the aid was sent out of the State of Qatar's sense of duty towards the Syrian people in their plight, The source added that the brotherly and historic relations between the people of both countries was also a catalyst that prompted Qatar to send the aid shipment. It is also as part of the State of Qatar's continuous efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people, he added. (QNA)
