FOREIGN MINISTER TO VISIT INDIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold will pay an official visit to the Republic of India January 15-17 by invitation of his counterpart Mr Salman Khurshid. Within the visit, the Foreign Minister will take part in a conference of Asian region on the education for democracy to be co-organized by the Community of Democracies (CoD) and the Indian side. He also aims to keep a frequency of political talks between the two countries in frames of developing the bilateral relations and cooperation by the comprehensive partnership principle, to share views on developing the economic and investment cooperation and on international and regional collaboration, and to take support from the Indian side in joining the Asia-Pacific regional integration. Mr Bold will introduce a programme of the cabinet for reforms to India, will exchange views with the Indian side on cooperation in the trade, economics, IT, education, sciences, heavy industry, banking and financial sectors, on attracting investments from India to the biggest projects on great construction implemented by the government, on introducing the latest hi tech, and on developing the mutually-beneficial bilateral cooperation. Agreements on specific issues will be reached with India as well. The Foreign Minister will be received by Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India. He will hold official talks with India's FM Salman Khurshid, will share views with Mr Anand Sharma, the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Textiles, on expanding the bilateral economic cooperation. Moreover, L.Bold will meet business delegates in Mumbai city to introduce them to investment environment of Mongolia and to opportunity to cooperate in the international capital market. B.Khuder
