SNSC Chief Leaves Kabul For Tehran

Kabul, Jan 8, IRNA – Secretary of Iran’s National Security Council left here for Tehran at the end of a three-day official visit during which he discussed major bilateral issues with senior Afghan officials. In his meetings, Jalili voiced Iran’s readiness to help develop Afghanistan in various fields. He noted that Tehran-Kabul lasting relations are based on profound and ancient friendship between the two nations. While in Kabul, Jalili held separate meetings with President Hamid Karzai, Foreign Minister Zalmai Rasoul and a number of other officials of the country./end
