Arab Parliament appeals Arabs to provide urgent aid

CAIRO, Oct. 27 (Saba) - Arab Parliament chairman Mohammed Jassem al
Saqer has appealed Arab countries governments and civil society
associations and organizations to provide urgent aid for rain
affected areas in the Eastern regions of Yemen.

Al Saqer expressed the parliament condolences to President Ali
Abdullah Saleh and all the Yemeni people over the victims of rains
that lashed several parts of the republic and left more than 60
people dead and missing.

He affirmed the parliament supports all Yemeni efforts to deal with
the catastrophe.
