DEMPARTY FACTION MEETS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A failure to run last week's plenary meeting of the parliamentary session is the fault of the faction of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP), said D.Erdenebat, a head of the Democratic Party's faction at parliament, after a regular meeting of his faction Monday. "Parliament has adopted the laws on the State Great Khural and on parliamentary regime, letting the MPP set up its faction and considering as necessity to make the politics more responsible and organizational. Unfortunately, the MPP has said it was not possible for them to participate in the meeting because of insufficient attendance of DP. It is very irresponsible statement," D.Erdenebat stressed. "Faction is an official body with a political responsibility, thus our faction intends to work out a draft law about dissolving a political party faction if its attendance does not reach at least 50 per cent at parliamentary session. It was one of the issues we discussed at the faction's meeting," he said. Apart of this matter, the faction considered some issues and heard a report from the Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag on governmental support for augmenting job places and fulfilling enterprisers' orders of trained workers. Moreover, the faction reached an agreement on specific works to be realized such as regulating the demographic centralization and tackling problems related to urbanization. The Ministry of Economic Development will submit to the DP faction a main plan of investments in the first quarter. B.Khuder
