WORKING GROUP FOR PREPARATION FOR COUNCIL OF EUROPE BAKU CONFERENCE OF CULTURE MINISTERS HOLDS LAST MEETING
Baku, 27 0ctober ,(AzerTAj) - A working group in charge of preparation for the Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Culture to be held in Baku in December has held its last meeting in Paris.
According to Sevda Mammadaliyeva, Azerbaijani Deputy Culture Minister, who
participated in the gathering, discussions mainly focused on the issues to be
included in the conference`s agenda, in particular the signing of a Baku
declaration.
Mammadova said the conference will bring together delegates not only from member
countries of the council of Europe, but also from 5 countries enjoying observer
status in the organization and 12 from neighboring regions.
The Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Culture is slated for
December 2-3 and will be entitled “Intercultural dialogue as a basis for peace and
sustainable development in Europe and its neighboring regions.”
