Bayern Munich Set for Training Camp in Doha

Doha, January 01 (QNA) - Bayern Munich squad will arrive here Wednesday to begin a seven-day training camp for the third consecutive year in Doha. The FCB squad and coaching staff will benefit from pleasant temperatures and the superb training facilities provided by the ASPIRE Academy for Sports Excellence. It is the third year in a row that Germany's biggest club have decamped to Doha for their mid-season training program. The squad in Doha will be augmented by a handful of players from the reserves and youths, namely keeper Leopold Zingerle, defender Daniel Wein, midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and junior pro Patrick Weihrauch. The schedule for the seven-day stay includes two workouts per day, and friendly matches against reigning Qatari champions Lekhwiya Sports Club on 5 January, and Bundesliga rivals Schalke on 8 January.
