AFESD extends $ 3 mln to prop up relief actions in Eastern Area

SANA'A, Oct. 27 (Saba) - The Arab Fund for Economic and Social
Development (AFESD) extended on Monday $ 3 million to the heavy
rains-affected people in Eastern governorates of Hadramout and
Mahrah.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim
al-Arhabi said that the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AFESD
Abdullatif Y. al-Hamad informed him this decision today, Monday,
during a phone call.

Al-Arhabi conveyed to al-Hamad the government's appreciation of the
rapid response of the Arab Fund.
