AZERI CHESS PLAYER LOSES TO INDIAN RIVAL IN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Baku, 27 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijani chess player Gunay Mammadzade (U-8) has lost
to the Indian rival Bansi in the 7th round of the World Youth Chess Championship in
Vietnam.
Despite the loss, she is among the leaders with 6 points.
The other Azeri players Ulvi Bacarani (U-14) ranks eighth, Chingiz Maharramli(U-8)
ninth, while Abdulla Hamidli (U-8) and Vasif Durarbayli (U-16) tenth.
The Swiss system tournament consists of 11 rounds.
The tournament will last until October 30.
