MUSLIM MAGOMAYEV TO BE BURIED IN BAKU
Baku, 26 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has decided on conducting events on the occasion of the death of the outstanding musician of the modern epoch, People’s Artists of Azerbaijan, People’s Artists of USSR Muslim Magomayev, the President’s Press Service told AzerTAc.
The decision envisages that an official delegation of Azerbaijan will be sent to
Moscow to participate in the farewell ceremony to be held here at Tchaikovsky
Concert Hall on October 28, 2008. A coffin with the body of Muslim Magomayev is
planned to be brought by a special flight to Baku, where a farewell ceremony will be
held on October 29 from 11:00 to 15:00.
Muslim Magomayev’s funeral will take place on October 29 at 16:00 in the first Alley
of Honors.
