Yemen, IMO discuss migrant data project

SANA'A, Oct 26 (Saba) – Minister of Migrant Affairs Ahmed Musaed
Hussein has discussed with the director of the International
Organization for Migration IOM office in Sana'aStefano Tamagnini the
project of migration data.

The two also discussed implementation of the first stage of the
project in mid November and that will include initial preparations
for the project as well as qualifying cadres through a training
course on inserting English data.

The meeting, moreover, dealt with the initiative for organizing the
new mechanism for Yemeni contract labor regulation, between Yemen
and the Untied Arab Emirates.

On the other hand, the ministry is preparing to hold the third
migrant conference and two workshops for businessmen and
professionals, Hussein said.
