WB affirms readiness to support efforts of curing floods' damages

SANA'A, Oct. 26 (Saba)- The World Bank has showed readiness to
support Yemeni government's efforts in curing damages resulted by
flood catastrophe in Yemeni eastern areas and to work on
coordinating donors' efforts for this purpose.

In the meeting with Minster of Planning and International
Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi, the WB's visiting mission, headed
by Samih Wahba, showed the organization's willingness for evaluating
size of damages and needs of the affected areas.

The meeting dealt with implementing program of improving Yemen Port
Cities- the first phase and preparations for the second phase. The
program aims at improving infrastructure of coast cities (
Aden-Hudeidah- Mucalla) to enabling them attract investments.
