NAGORNO-KARABAKH WILL NEVER BE GIVEN INDEPENDENCE, PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV
Baku, 25 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)Nagorno-Karabakh will never be given independence - neither today, nor tomorrow, nor in 10, nor in 50 years, said Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev at his inauguration ceremony on October 24.
“Resolution of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has been a priority
of our foreign policy. Today, I can say that the talks are being held on the base of
territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Today, the world realizes well that successful
development of the region requires resolution of frozen conflicts. The resolution
must be based only on the international legal norms and principles, and Azerbaijan`s
territorial integrity must be restored” said President Ilham Aliyev.
The President stressed “I want to reiterate that the state of Azerbaijan will never
allow secession of Nagorno-Karabakh, the Azerbaijani land from time immemorial”.
