PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN ILHAM ALIYEV SENDS CONDOLENCES TO SPOUSE OF MUSLIM MAGOMAYEV TAMARA SINYAVSKAYA

Baku, 25 0ctober ,(AzerTAj) - On October 25, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a message of condolences to Tamara Sinyavskaya, spouse of the People’s Artist of USSR, outstanding musician Muslim Magomayev on his passing away.

The message reads:
Dear Tamara Ilyinichna,
It is with great pain that I learned the news of the untimely demise of your spouse,
outstanding musical figure of the contemporary world Muslim Magomayev.
Together with the whole people of Azerbaijan I mourn over this heavy loss and offer
to you my deepest condolences. We all perceive this death as our personal loss, as
an irreplaceable loss for all Azerbaijanis and the whole music world. For us,
Muslim Magomayev was a symbol of an entire epoch, an embodiment of genuine art, and
an idol for millions of people.
All in Azerbaijan remember how profound love and care unforgettable Heydar Aliyevich
Aliyev had for Muslim Magomayev. He called Muslim a live legend of musical art, and
considered him a worthy successor of the traditions laid down in Azerbaijan by
Muslim Magomayev’s grandfather.
All who knew and loved this great singer and a man of tremendous charm share you
sorrow.
