DPM EXTENDS DEEPAVALI GREETINGS TO HINDUS
PEKAN (Malaysia), Oct 25 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak
Saturday extended Deepavali greetings to Hindus, who will celebrate the festival
on Monday.
He said he hoped that Hindus would take advantage of the spirit of
Deepavali, which reflected the triumph of good over evil, to find ways to
resolve any problem they faced in the best way possible.
"We should find ways to resolve any problem that we face in the best way
possible and, as such, there will be appreciation of the festival of Deepavali,"
he told reporters after presenting contributions to would-be pilgrims in his
Pekan parliamentary constituency, at his residence here.
