PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES HEAD OF RUSSIAN PRESIDENT’s ADMINISTRATION

Baku, 24 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)On October 24, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Head of the Administration of the Russian President Sergey Naryshkin.

Sergey Naryshkin congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his election as Azerbaijan`s President.
He conveyed greetings and best regards of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to
President Ilham Aliyev.
Sergey Naryshkin said: “Mr. President, your election as the Head of State is a
significant event for Russia as well. Your coming to power again in Azerbaijan,
strategic partner and good neighbor of Russia, is a source of pride to us as well.”

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for Russian President Dmitry
Medvedev`s greetings, and asked Sergey Naryshkin to extend his greetings and best
wishes to his Russian counterpart.
During the talk, they also pointed to successful enhancement of bilateral
cooperation in various spheres, and expressed confidence in further expansion of
bilateral relations.
