CASINO INVESTORS NEEDED IN N SULAWESI
Manado, Oct 24 (ANTARA) - North Sulawesi needed casino investors, or an international gambling arena to enhance the region's economic growth.
The management and developing agency (BP) director of Manado integrated economy development area (Kapet), Dolfie Maringka said that a casino would make a multi effect on regional development, he said here Friday.
However, a casino should have a further study, due to Indonesian laws mostly banning gambling places.
He said a casino in North Sulawesi should adopt the rules of several foreign gambling areas such as Genting island in Malaysia, Macao, Korea and others which banned locals from gambling.
Gambling is only for foreign people like tourists, investors and others, Said Maringka, who is also coordinator of citizens against corruption in North Sumatra said.
