Azerbaijani President officially welcomed in Singapore

Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov.21/ Trend / President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who is in Singapore for a state visit, has today been given an official welcome at the Istana presidential residence. The Azerbaijani President was welcomed by his Singaporean counterpart Tony Tan. A ceremonial guard of honor was lined up for the Azerbaijani President in front of the residence decorated with the national flags of the two countries. The presidents reviewed the guard of honor as an orchestra played the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Singapore. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed the guest book of the Istana presidential residence. Members of the Azerbaijani delegation were introduced to Singaporean leader Tony Tan, while his country`s state and government officials were introduced to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
