Jakarta, Oct 24 (ANTARA) - The target of terrorist attacks now has shifted from United States interests to any party not sharing their views, , National Police Chief Gen Bambang Hendarso Danuri said here on Friday.
Danuri made the statement after transferring his position as the head of National Police's Criminal Investigation Department to Commissioner General Susno Duaji at the National Police Headquarters in South Jakarta.
"The terrorists' way of thinking in choosing their targets is marked by a dynamism of its own. This became evident in the arrest of members of the 'Palembang group' some time ago and the recent capture of members of the 'North Jakarta group' in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. They no longer attack US interests but other, more specific, objects," Danuri said.
