AZERI DEFENSE MINISTER MEETS BENS DELEGATION
Baku, 23 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan Minister of Defense Safar Abiyev met with a delegation of the Business Executives for National Security, including Retired General Charles Boyd (head) and Vice-admiral Richard Gallagher, Deputy Commander of the U.S. European Command.
During the conversation, Abiyev spoke of Azerbaijan`s economic and political
progress, and achievements in army building.
The meeting focused on tense military and political situation in the region, in
particular factors retarding settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
US ambassador in Baku Anne Derse was also present at the meeting.
