AZERBAIJANI BUSINESSMEN VISIT BUCHAREST

Baku, 23 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)A delegation of Azerbaijani businessmen led by president of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers') Organizations of the country (AEC) Alakbar Mammadov have paid a business trip to Romania.

On October 21, they came together with Romanian counterparts for a joint business
forum aimed at exploring ways of boosting bilateral relations.
Addressing the event, Mammadov spoke of Azerbaijan`s dynamic economic development,
and informed the Romanian businessmen of investment climate in the country.
He stressed Azerbaijan was declared the year`s top reformer by Doing Business 2009
report issued by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC.)
Mammadov expressed confidence the Bucharest forum will give a push to expansion of
bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the Azeri and Romanian businessmen.
As part of the trip, the Azeri delegation also visited the country`s embassy in
Bucharest and held meetings at the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Agency
for Foreign Investments, as well as Romania-Azerbaijan and Romania-Turkey chambers
of Commerce and Industry.
