Yemen continues efforts to free al-Moayad

SANA'A, Oct. 23 (Saba) - Government continues its efforts to release
Mohammed al-Moayad and his companion Mohammed Zaid from the American
jails and return them back home, a diplomat source said on Thursday.

The source was quoted as saying by the state-run 26sep.net that
after the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously reversed their
unjustifiable convictions, the Yemeni embassy in Washington is
following up carefully the case development under the direct
supervision of Foreign Ministry.

For this purpose, diplomats from the embassy have mat recently with
head of the FBI. The arrangements are going on to hold a meeting
with officials in the U.S. Department of Justice in the coming days
request the U.S. administration to frees al-Moayad and Zaid.

Regarding the condition health of al-Moayad, the American side
confirmed that his health is very well and he receives the entire
medical care, according to the source.
