Yemen to learn from Tunisian, Moroccan health insurance deeds
TUNISIA, Oct 23 (Saba) - A parliamentary delegation is set to
familiarize itself with the Tunisian and Moroccan health insurance
experiences to develop a project of health insurance submitted by
the minister council to parliament.
Head of the Workforce and Social Affairs Committee at the parliament
Azam Salah said the Yemeni parliament is keen to take advantages
from others experiences to avoid any shortages or future failures
with what it plans to do for the project.
He affirmed the visit of the delegation, which includes Tunisia and
Morocco, comes within the council aims to let many people to take
advantages of health insurance in the country.
The committee reporter Samir Ridha said the visit, which was planned
in coordination with the Public Health Ministry and the World
Health Organization, aimed at benefiting from the two countries
experiences in this field because they are pioneer Arab states in
the health insurance field.
