Al-Qirbi: We hope Somali factions reach national reconciliation

SANA'A, Oct. 23 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi
said that Yemen will take part in meeting of all Somali factions in
Djibouti's capital on Saturday which well be led by UN envoy,
according to the weekly September on Thursday.

Al-Qirbi added that the meeting comes to solve Somali problems,
hoping that the meeting could unite views between the Somali
transitional government and the opposition leaders to reach a
national unity and bring the stability and peace to the country.

He also confirmed Yemeni support for stability in Somalia and denied
that Yemen has prevented African refugees from entering the country
although the economic burden which faces the Yemeni government.

Al-Qirbi pointed out that foreign ministers whom he met in Future
Forum confirmed their support to Yemeni efforts in combating sea
piracy.
