GCC Secretary General meets Iran's Ambassador

Riyadh, October 23, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation
Council Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah met here today with Iran's
Ambassador to the Kingdom Mohammad Houssein.

During the meeting, they discussed the final arrangements for the
visit of the Secretary General to Tehran from Oct. 28-29 in which he
will meet with Iran's senior officials.

Also, they discussed the strengthening of relations between the GCC
countries and the friendly Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields
and ways of developing them to serve the interests of both sides as
well as all the developments and international issues of common
concern.
