Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz makes statement

Amman, October 23, SPA -- Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Minister of
Interior and head of the Saudi delegation to the fifth meeting of
interior ministers of Iraq’s neighboring countries emphasized that
the meeting which was held here today is a successful meeting and it
has achieved its purposes.

In a press statement after the meeting, he noted the keenness of all
the neighboring countries of Iraq for its stability and security and
that its people enjoy security and safety.

He said that Saudi Arabia is keen to support all efforts aiming at
giving the prosperity and preservation of unity the people of Iraq
wish to enjoy.

He expressed hope that all political, social and developmental
efforts will be successful to provide adequate security environment
which maintains the Iraqi people, their lives and properties.
