President inspects training process in Military Academy

SANA'A, Oct. 23 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid Thursday
visit to the Military Academy where he inspected training and
qualification process in the academy and inspected process of
receiving new affiliates in the military.

He met with new registered who have been accepted in Military
Academy and Marine College and addressed them saying," the great
number of those who applied for registration in the two colleges
reflects enthusiasm and desire of Yemeni youth for affiliating with
the military institution.

He pointed out that military colleges and institutions accept
applications according their capacities and that there are
aspirations for increasing their capacities for granting greater
chance to youth to attend the military institutions for military and
security qualification.

These institutions, he noted, are focusing on teaching on foreign
languages topped by English that would be basic subject in teaching
curriculum for enabling learner wider horizons for acquiring
knowledge.

He indicated that the military institution is the mother of parties
and the national institution guarding constitutional legislation,
democracy, security, stability, development and protecting the
Yemeni Unity, asserting that the institution would get care and
attention for enhancing security and defense capability.
