European Commission supports Azerbaijani government’s measures in internet sphere

Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 8 / Trend A. Badalova/ The European Commission supports Azerbaijani government's agenda of penetration of internet and broadcasting, Vice President of the European Commission Nelli Kroes said at the press conference in Baku on Thursday. "We support the development of TV in the country, as well as the development of media pluralism through the internet," Kroes said. Kroes noted that Internet opportunity and free Internet concept means an access to the Internet for anyone. "There is still have something to do here in Azerbaijan," Kroes said.
