OIC Chief meets Foreign Ministers of Denmark and Spain

Copenhagen, Denmark, October 23, SPA -- Secretary General of the
Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Professor Ekmeleddin
Ihsanoglu has met Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Per Stig Moller
and discussed with him various international issues and challenges as
well as means of promoting cooperation with a view to fostering
dialogue and mutual understanding.

Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu is in Copenhagen to attend an
International Conference on the role of education for intercultural
understanding and dialogue which was inaugurated last Tuesday in the
Danish capital, according to a latest press release of the OIC.

The Secretary General also availed himself of this opportunity to
have brief exchanges of views during the Conference on possibilities
of cooperation particularly with Angel Moratinos, Spanish Minister of
Foreign Affairs; Jorge Sampaio, UN Alliance of Civilizations High
Representative and Andre Azoulay, President of the Anna Lindth
Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for Dialogue between Cultures.
