Yemeni Port Cities Development Program evaluated

ADEN, Oct. 22 (Saba)- A meeting held here on Wednesday was assigned
for evaluating works of companies and of consulting companies
working within Yemeni Port Cities Development Program (YPCDP).

The participants affirmed necessity of seeking energy alternatives
for generating electricity due to the inability of current energy
for covering investment requirements.

In the meeting, included a delegation from the World Bank headed by
Sameh Wahba and officials from the YPCDP and Aden Free Zone, Dutch
company in charge of updating strategic view and improving the free
zone presented a review on what has been achieved yet in this field
and action plan for the forth coming period.

Wahba indicated that the YPCDP and International Development Agency
are working together for supporting Aden Free Zone for realizing its
development plans.

"This step was preceded by a tour and marketing search in a number
of Gulf countries, Malaysia, Singapore and India for introducing the
project to businessmen and improved international companies in these
countries," said Wahba.
