Oil Minister, IMF delegation discuss cooperation

SANA'A, Oct. 22 (Saba) - Minister of Oil and Minerals Amir Aidrous
held Wednesday talks with a delegation of the International Monetary
Fund (IMF) on aspects of joint cooperation in domains of oil and
minerals.

During the meeting, the minister briefed the IMF delegation on the
initiatives of the Ministry to develop oil, gas and mineral sectors
in fields of exploration, promotion, production and manufacturing
industries.

He affirmed the government's keenness on enhancing oil and mineral
reality and reinforcing investment appropriate environment.

For his part, IMF delegation praised Ministry's role to enhance the
transparency of information.
