Hanoi Mayor welcomes Cambodian military officers

Hanoi (VNA) - Hanoi People's Committee Chairman Nguyen The Thao on Oct. 21
received a delegation from Cambodia 's Special Military Region led by its
Commander Lieut. Gen. Prum Din.

Thao briefed his guests on Hanoi 's socio-economic development,
particularly its potentials, opportunities and challenges ahead after the
city was expanded.

The chairman said he hoped that cooperative relations between the people of
Vietnam and Cambodia as well as between the Hanoi High Command and the
Special Military Region will further develop following the visit.

Earlier, the Cambodian delegates had a working session with the Hanoi High
Command.-
