Statistics Committee: Uzbek chemical enterprises increase output by 4.7 per cent

Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Oct. 25 / Trend D. Azizov / Uzbek chemical enterprises increased output by 4.7 per cent in January - September, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said today. The factories have produced in particular, 955,000 tons of mineral fertilisers since early 2012, or 5.4 per cent more compared to the same period last year. Potash production increased by 17.8 per cent, nitrogen - 4.5 per cent and phosphate - 2.7 per cent. The factories increased production of carboxymethyl cellulose by 2.1 times, nitric acid two fold, technical salt two fold, acetaldehyde by 162.5 per cent, detergents by 49.4 per cent, ammonium sulphate by 17.7 per cent, sodium cyanide by 13.8 per cent, hydrochloric acid by 12.1 per cent, sulphuric acid by 4.4 per cent, synthetic ammonia by 6.5 per cent and caustic soda by 3.2 per cent, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.
