Azerbaijan, U.S. discuss military cooperation

Azerbaijan, Baku, Oct.19 / Trend, K.Zarbaliyeva / Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev received a delegation headed by Commander of the U.S. Transportation Command William Fraser on Oct.19, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told Trend. At the meeting the sides also exchanged views on issues of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States, the situation in the region, and Azerbaijan's important role in the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.
