AZERI JUSTICE MINISTER MEETS NORWEGIAN JUSTICE OFFICIALS

Baku, 21 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov has met a delegation of Norway`s Justice Ministry led by Secretary General Morten Ruud.

Mammadov spoke of legal reforms conducted in his country.
On recent presidential elections in Azerbaijan, the minister said they were free,
fair and transparent.
He said Azerbaijan maintains close cooperation with international organizations,
including OSCE and Council of Europe.
The Norwegian officials expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation between
the Norwegian and Azerbaijani justice authorities.
Morten Ruud invited the Azeri minister to attend a next meeting of European justice
ministers in Norway.
Norway`s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Jon Ramberg and Head of OSCE Baku Office Jose Luis
Herrero Ansola were also present at the meeting.
