Air transport situation in Aden discussed

ADEN, Oct. 21 (Saba)- Secretary General of Aden Local Council
Adul-Karim Shaef discussed on Tuesday with World Bank's Principle
Air Transport Specialist Charles Schlumberger situations of air
transport in the governorate.

During the meeting, Shaef asserted
importance of cooperation between Yemen and the WB for supporting
and developing Aden city's infrastructure, noting continuous
activities for hosting Gulf Football Championship 20 and called on
development partners to help the city in hosting this sport activity.

For his part the WB official, who would conduct visits to a number
of Yemeni governorates for making analyzing and evaluative study on
air transport sector in Yemen, affirmed on having investment and
tourist factors in the city and building modern hall in the airport.
